BMF Regulatory Framework
Austria · BMFExecutive overview
The Austrian authorities publish information about concession holders and authorised offerings. The BMF list is a starting point for checking the operator and exact online offering. An MGA or other foreign licence does not replace Austrian permission.
Compare the offer terms separately
A concession does not confirm a specific bonus, deposit minimum or withdrawal time. Check wagering conditions, expiry, maximum stakes, identity checks and payment rules with the operator. RTP concerns a particular game configuration and describes a long-term expectation, not the next win.
Player protection and complaints
18+ and the applicable minimum age. Use account limits and available self-exclusion tools. Do not bypass restrictions with a VPN. Keep terms and payment records, contact the operator about a dispute and consult the applicable official complaint channels. VerifiedCasinos compares published information; it is not a regulator or independent test laboratory.

Practical regulatory guide
Check the operator, domain and concession scope
Open the official list and match the legal company, exact domain and authorised activity. A brand name or logo is insufficient. Different gambling products can have different regulatory treatment; a sports-betting permission must not be treated as an online-casino concession.
Distinguish current rules from proposed changes
A draft law or announced reform is not automatically the law in force. Check current official information and effective dates. A concession from another country does not by itself establish Austrian authorisation. This guide is not individual legal advice or operator certification.
